해설문

국문

궁궐조성을 위한 기초시설로 보이는 동서방향 석축(동서서축2)의 중간에 들어서 있다. 땅을 판 후 잘 다듬은 석재를 1~2단 쌓아 터를 만들었다. 한 변의 길이가 12m인 정사각형 건물로 추정된다. 건물터 주변으로 기와를 잇댄 토관(土管)을 설치하여 배수처리를 하였다. 위치와 구조로 보아 사찰의 중요한 건물로 추정된다.

Building Site No. 3

This is the site of a building relating to the Buddhist temple which once stood at this archeological site. Based on its location and layout, it is presumed to have been an important temple building.

The building was located behind the stone pagoda near the second east-west retaining wall. It is presumed to have had a square layout measuring 12 m on each side. Its foundation was constructed by digging a pit and lining it with one to two layers of well-hewn stones. Around the building was a drainage ditch constructed of mud and stacked roof tiles.

영문 해설 내용

이곳은 왕궁리 유적에 들어섰던 사찰의 건물이 있던 곳이다. 위치와 구조로 보아 사찰의 중요한 건물로 추정된다.

이 건물은 석탑 뒤쪽, 동서방향 석축 근처에 들어서 있었다. 한 변의 길이가 12m인 정사각형 건물로 추정되고, 땅을 판 후 잘 다듬은 석재를 1~2단 쌓아 터를 만들었다. 건물터 주변으로 기와를 잇댄 토관(土管)을 설치하여 배수처리를 하였다.
