Gwangju’s Representative Female K-pop Icon: Zuny of Ladies Code

Narrative

Zuny (Kim Joo-mi, born 1994) is a member of the K-pop girl group Ladies Code and a native of Gwangju. Zuny grew up in the Songjeong-dong neighborhood of Gwangsan-gu District, attending Songjeongdong Elementary School, Songjeong Middle School, and Myeongjin High School. Other K-pop stars from Gwangju include BTS's J-Hope, who was born the same year as Zuny, and TVXQ's U-KNOW, who are all featured as part of Gwangju's K-pop Star Street.
