From righteous army leaders of the Japanese invasions of 1592-1598 to devoted Confucian scholars, modern artists, missionaries, and pro-democracy activists, each road serves as a living memorial to their lives and contributions. In Dong-gu, Seo-gu, Nam-gu, Buk-gu, and Gwangsan-gu, these figures are remembered not only by name but also through shrines, museums, and historical sites that preserve their legacy.
