Mudeung Landscape Course: A Cultural Journey Through Nature
The Mudeung Landscape Course in Gwangju features key cultural sites centered around Mudeungsan Mountain. This includes the Uijae Art Museum, named after Heo Baek-ryeon (1891-1977), and Jeungsimsa Temple. Starting at the Gwangju Traditional Culture Center, the path leads through notable spots like the National Asian Culture Center and also features the Mudeung Museum of Contemporary Art and Woo Jaeghil Art Museum. Several of the sites are also part of the Unnim-dong Stamp Tour. The journey highlights Gwangju’s artistic heritage through a series of linked cultural and historical sites, offering an opportunity for engagement with the city’s rich history while enjoying nature.
