습을 마치고 제사가 끝나지 않아 세자가 나가자 신승선·노사신 등이 말리다
○襲畢將奠, 而諸事未完, 世子先出于外以待。 右議政愼承善請還入內待事辦而出, 世子不許。 左議政盧思愼啓: "人君之事, 異於匹夫, 請入內。" 從之。

습을 마치고 전(奠)하려 하여 채 모든 일이 끝나지 않았는데, 세자가 먼저 밖에 나가 기다렸다. 우의정(右議政) 신승선(愼承善)이 아뢰기를,

"도로 안에 들어가시어, 일이 끝나거든 나오소서."

하였으나, 세자가 듣지 않았다. 좌의정 노사신(盧思愼)이 아뢰기를,

"임금의 일은 일반 사람과 다르오니, 안으로 들어가소서."

하니, 그 말을 따랐다.		 After the body was dressed, the offering ritual had still to occur. Although the entire process was not yet over, the crown prince went out to wait. Third State Councilor (Uuijeong) Shin Seungseon[역주 1] asked him to go back inside and wait for the ritual to be completed, but the crown prince did not listen. Second State Councilor (Jwauijeong) Noh Sasin[역주 2] petitioned: “These are matters pertaining to His Majesty, which are different from ordinary people. You must come back inside.” The crown prince did so.
