소경원

Definition
조선 16대 국왕 인조의 장자 소현세자(昭顯世子)를 단분으로 안장한 세자묘이다. 1645년(인조 23)에 소현세자가 청나라에서 귀국 한 후 두 달만에 갑자기 세상을 떠나자, 고양 효릉(孝陵) 근처인 지금의 자리에 묘를 조성하였다. 처음에는 순회묘(順懷墓)의 예제를 따라 소현묘(昭顯墓)라 했으나 이후 1870년(고종 7)에 소경원(昭慶園)으로 격상되었다. 원침에는 병풍석과 난간석을 생략하였으며, 문석인, 석마, 장명등, 혼유석, 석호 1쌍, 석양 1쌍을 배치하였다. 사적 제200호인 서삼릉(西三陵) 내에 있다.
