조선상업은행

Definition

대한천일은행(大韓天一銀行)을 개편해 1911년 1월에 설립한 은행으로 일제 강점 직후 민족계 은행의 약화와 말살을 도모하는 동시에 민족계 은행에 대한 일본인 자본·세력의 침투·지배를 강화하는 총독부의 정책의 일단으로서 성립되었다.
