석어당 현판

Definition

‘석어(昔御)’는 ‘옛날에 임어(臨御)하였다’, 즉 옛날 임금이 머물렀다는 의미다. 옛날 임금은 임진왜란으로 이 곳에 처음 머물렀던 선조를 말한다.
