대사

Definition

대사는 국가의 정사(正祀) 중 가장 높은 등급의 제사를 뜻한다. 조선전기에는 대사에 사직과 종묘만이 있었으나 영녕전이 『국조오례의(國朝五禮儀)』의 편찬 때 포함되었다.

이어 조선후기에는 경모궁(景慕宮)이 신규 대사로 편입되었으며, 대한제국이 선포된 이후에는 원구제(圜丘祭)가 새로이 신설되었다.
