Definition

김주국(金柱國, 1710-1771)은 학봉 김성일의 7세손으로 자는 원석(元石), 본관은 의성(義城)이다. 이상정의 『대산집(大山集)』에 따르면 김주국은 어려서부터 호방하고 뜻이 컸으며, 박학하고 글을 잘 지었고, 세속의 흐름이 휩쓸리지 않는 성품을 지녔으며, 좋은 벗들과 사귀는 것을 좋아하였다고 한다. 벼슬에 나아가지 않았다. [1]
