효의왕후

효의왕후(孝懿王后1753~1821) 조선 제22대 왕 정조의 비. 본관은 청풍(淸風). 아버지는 좌참찬 김시묵,어머니는 홍상언의 딸 남양홍씨이다. 1762년(영조 38) 세손빈(世孫嬪)으로 책봉되었고 1776년 정조가 왕위에 오르자 왕비가 되었다. 시어머니 혜경궁 홍씨를 지성으로 모시고 청연, 청선 군주들과도 우애가 돈독했다고 한다. 소생이 없다. 생전에 여러 차례 존호를 올려졌으나 모두 거절하였다. 시호는 예경자수효의왕후(睿敬慈粹孝懿王后)이고, 능호는 건릉(健陵)으로 경기도 화성군 안룡면 안녕리에 있다.
