수문호배

Definition

수문호배(水璊瑚杯)는 붉은 색을 띄는 옥으로 만든 큰 술잔으로 추정된다. 배(杯)는 잔(盞)보다 큰 술잔을 지칭한다. 의례용 술잔으로 사용하였다. 잔 전면에 복숭아 문양을 넣었고, 술잔 모양도 복숭아 형상이다. 궁중연향 때 복숭아꽃잎 같은 모양의 은도금받침대에 올려놓고 사용하였다.
