선도반

Definition

선도반(仙桃盤)은 궁중정재(宮中呈才)인 헌선도(獻仙桃)의 무구(舞具)이다. 선도반은 먹으면 늙지도 않고 죽지도 않는 복숭아인 선도(仙桃)를 담은 은쟁반이다. 헌선도는 서왕모(西王母)가 선도반에 놓여 진 선도를 연향의 주빈에게 바침으로써 장수를 기원한다는 내용의 당악정재이다.
