Definition

1552(명종7)~1617(광해군9)
조선 중기 선조(宣祖)~광해군(光海君) 때 활동한 문신(文臣). 임진왜란(壬辰倭亂) 때 ‘홍의장군(紅衣將軍)’으로 불린 경상도 의병장(義兵長).
