계제사

Definition

예조의 사무를 관장하기 위하여 설치되었던 관사의 하나로 의식(儀式)·제도(制度)·조회(朝會)·경연(經筵)·사관(史館)·학교(學校)·공거(貢擧)·도서(圖書)·상서(祥瑞)·패인(牌印)·표소(表疏)·책명(冊命)·천문(天文)·누각(漏刻)·국기(國忌)·묘휘(廟諱)·상장(喪葬) 등의 일을 맡고, 정랑(正郞) 한 사람, 좌랑(佐郞) 한 사람을 두었으며, 1894년(고종 31) 갑오개혁에 의한 관제개편 때 폐지되었다.
