十二日,晴,行過五里河,至塔山所城,所寧遠衛之中左千戶所也,由城南門而入,門即海寧門也,過進士門,至所館,又由城東門而出,至香山驛,驛東有杏兒山故名,北又有長嶺山.

맑았습니다. 가다가 오리하(五里河)를 지나서 탑산소성(塔山所城)에 이르니, 탑산소는 곧 영원위의 중좌천호소(中左千戶所)이었습니다. 성 남문으로 들어가니 문은 곧 해녕문(海寧門)이었습니다. 진사문을 지나서 천호소의 객관에 이르고, 또 성 동문으로 나와 행산역(杏山驛)에 이르렀습니다. 행산역 동쪽에 행아산(杏兒山)이 있었기 때문에 붙은 이름이었습니다. 북쪽에는 또 장령산(長嶺山)이 있었습니다.

十三日,陰,行至中屯衛之中左千戶所城,由靖安門而入,從定遠門而出,至凌河驛,驛北有占茂山.

흐렸습니다. 가다가 중둔위(中屯衛)의 중좌천호소성(中左千戶所城)에 이르러 정안문(靖安門)으로 들어갔다가 정원문(定遠門)으로 나왔습니다. 능하역(凌河驛)에 이르니 능하역 북쪽에는 점무산(占茂山)이 있었습니다.

十四日,晴,瞬之城東,有小凌河,渡河過荊山鋪,至左屯衛之中左千戶城,由海寧門而入,從臨河門而出,城西有紫荊山,北有道遙寺,城之東七八里外,又有大凌河,兩河相距可四十餘里,興安鋪、東岳廟,臨河之東岸,河之東北六七里間,有白沙場,沙窩鋪當其中,白沙隨風簸(楊)(揚],填塞鋪城,城之不沒於沙僅一二尺,到十三山驛,城東有十三山,以有十三宰故名,曝亦因山得名,北又有小昆命、能奉諸山,有官人乘而至,行案有物大如飘,其中有酒,劈然後可飲,張述祖謂臣曰:“此果乃椰子酒也,嶺南多產,人或飲此為生產者,此則乃廣東布政司進獻,至尊,至尊又實廣寧太監的,”

맑았습니다. 능하역 성 동쪽에 소릉하(小凌河)가 있었습니다. 소릉하를 건너 형산포(荊山鋪)를 지나서 좌둔위(左屯衛)의 중좌천호소성(中左千戶所城)에 이르러 해녕문으로 들어갔다가 임하문(臨河門)으로 나왔습니다. 성 서쪽에는 자형산(紫荊山), 북쪽에는 소요사(逍遙寺)가 있었습니다. 성 동쪽 7-8리 밖에 또 대릉하(大凌河)가 있었는데, 두 강과의 사이가 40여 리였습니다. 흥안포(興安鋪)와 동악묘(東岳廟)는 대릉하 동쪽 언덕에 접해 있었습니다. 대릉하 동북쪽 6-7리 사이에 백사장(白沙場)이 있고 사와포(沙窩鋪)가 그 중간에 있었습니다. 흰모래가 바람에 날려서 포성(鋪城)을 꽉 메우니, 성의 1-2척 만이 모래에 파묻히지 않았습니다. 십삼산역(十三山驛)에 이르니 성 동쪽에 십삼산(十三山)이 있었습니다. 13봉(峯)이 있어 '십삼산'이라 이름지었고, 역명도 이로 인해 얻어진 것이었습니다. 북쪽에는 소곤륜산(小昆命山)과 웅봉산(熊奉山) 등 여러 산이 있었습니다. 관인이 역마를 타고 왔는데, 행낭에는 크기가 바가지만한 것이 있었습니다. 그 속에 술이 있었는데 쪼갠 뒤에야 마실 수 있었습니다. 장술조가 신에게 말하기를, “이 과실이 야자주(柳子酒)입니다. 영남(嶺南)189에서 많이 산출되는데 사람들은 간혹 이를 마시고 아이를 낳기도 합니다. 이는 곧 광동포정사(廣東布政司)가 지존(至尊)에게 진헌(進獻)한 것인데 지존께서 다시 광녕태감(廣寧太監)에게 상으로 주신 것입니다”라고 하였습니다.

14th Day. Fair. The Hsiao-ling River was east of the wall of the station. We crossed the river, passed Ching-shan Stop, and came to the wall of the Chung-tso Chiliad of Tso-t’un Garrison. We went in through Hsi-ning Gate and out through Linho Gate. Tzu-ching Mountain was west of the wall and Hsiao-yao Temple was north. Seven or eight li east of the wall was also the Ta-ling River. The two rivers were about forty li apart. Hsing-an Stop and Tung-yüeh Shrine overlooked the east bank of the river. For six or seven li northeast of the river there was a stretch of white sand, in which stood Sha-wo Stop. The white sand, winnowed by the wind, had drifted against the wall of the stop until only one or two feet of the wall were not buried in it. We came to the wall of Thirteen Mountains Station. The Thirteen Mountains were in the east and were so named because they had thirteen peaks. The station also got that name from the mountains. The Hsiao-k’un-lun and Hsiungfeng mountains were also in the north. An official arrived in a courier carriage (jih) with a thing in his travel bag the size of a gourd. In it was wine that one could drink after splitting it open. Chang Shu-tsu said to me, “That is coconut wine; Ling-nan produces much of it. If a man drinks it, it makes him productive. That was in a gift from the Kwangtung Administration Commissioner to the Emperor. The Emperor, in turn, awarded it to the Overseer of Kuang-ning.”

十五日,晴,過山後鋪、榆林鋪,到閭陽驛,有山自十三山之北,横亘東走,過此驛之北,以抵于廣寧衛之北而東,其中有龍王、保住、望海、分水、望城崗、祿河等諸宰,通謂之醫巫閭山,此琴正當其陽,故名間陽,嘗聞出檢關以東,南濱海,北限大山,盡皆粗惡不毛,主山峭拔,摩空蒼翠,乃醫巫闆,正謂此也.

맑았습니다. 산후포(山後鋪), 유림포(楡林鋪)를 지나서 여양역(閭陽驛)에 이르니, 산이 십삼산의 북쪽에서부터 옆으로 뻗어, 동쪽으로 달려 이 역의 북쪽을 거친 다음 광녕위(廣寧衛)의 북쪽에 이르렀다가 동쪽으로 갔습니다. 그 중간에 용왕봉(龍王峯)·보주봉(保住峯)·망해봉(望海峯)·분수봉(分水峯)·망성강(望城岡)·녹하봉(祿河峯)등 여러 봉우리가 있는데, 통틀어 이를 '의무려산(醫巫閭山)이라고 불렀습니다. 이 역이 바로 그 남쪽에 있었기 때문에 '여양(閭陽)'이라 한 것이었습니다. 일찍이 유관(__關)에서 동쪽은 남으로 바다에 접하고 북으로 큰 산과 맞닿아 있는데 모두 토질이 조악한 불모의 산해관으로부터 遼陽을 거쳐 의주에 이르는 역참로 땅이라고 들었습니다. 주산(主山)이 험준하여 푸른 하늘에 높이 솟아 있었는데 의무려산은 바로 이곳을 일컫는 것이었습니다.

15th Day. Fair. [We went from Shan-hou Stop to Lü-yang Station, south of the l-wu-lü Mountains.] I had heard that the great northern mountains that bordered the sea southeast from Yü-kuan were rugged and evil, without green cover, and that the chief mountains soared boldly into the blue sky. Those things could truly be said of the I-wu-lü.

十六日,至廣寧驛,遇聖節使臣,是日晴,過四塔鋪,又過二鋪及接官亭,至廣寧衛城,由城西迎恩門而入,過進士坊,至廣寧曝,聖節使參判蔡壽、質正官金學、書狀官鄭而得及閔琳、蔡年、朴明善、陳思達、吳誠文、張良、李郁、李懿、李亨良、洪孝誠、鄭殷、申繼孫、辛自剛、尹仲連、金從孫、金春等,馳至驛中,書狀、質正先入臣所寓,略語鄉國之音,臣往拜于使臣,使臣引臣上座,日:“不意今日得相見於此,漂汝活汝,天實使之,到泊中國界,是乃得生之地,因問臣以所歷山川、形勝、人物、繁夥,臣略陳之,使臣亦語浙江以南江山地方,如語會經之地,謂臣曰:“我國人物,親見大江以南者,近古所無,汝獨歷覽若此,豈非幸乎?”臣辭退,夕,使臣又使人問曰:“汝漂寄他國,行李粮釀,必有缺乏,缺乏何物?我其補之”臣曰:“我則重蒙 皇帝厚恩,生到于此,過此後,不數日間,馳至本國,令公之行,必過七月乃還,則客中有物,亦有限量,不可輕與人,敢辭,”使臣招臣之從者,以米二斗、麓二束贈之,曰:“喪中作客,無物可食,故以之.”夜乘月,使臣坐中庭,邀臣至前,設酌以慰.

광녕역(廣寧驛)에 이르러 성절사신(聖節使臣)을 만났습니다. 이 날은 맑았습니다. 사탑포(四塔鋪)를 지나고 또 이포(二鋪)와 접궁정(接官亭)을 거쳐서 광녕위성(廣寧衛城)에 이르렀습니다. 성 서쪽 영은문(迎恩門)을 경유해 들어가 진사방(進士坊)을 지나서 광녕역에 이르니, 성절사인 참판(參判) 채수(蔡壽)', 질정관(質正官) 김학기(金學起), 서장관(書狀官) 정이득(鄭而得)과 민임(閔琳)·채연(蔡年)·박명선(朴明善)·유사달(思達)·오계문(吳誠文)·장량(張良)·이욱(李郁)·이숙(李塾) · 이형량(李亨良)·홍효성(洪孝誠)·정은(鄭殷)·신계손(申繼孫)·신자강(辛自剛)·윤중연(尹仲連)·김종손(金從孫)·김춘(金春) 등이 광녕역 안으로 말을 달려왔습니다. 서장관과 질정관이 먼저 신의 처소로 들어와서 고향과 나라 소식을 대강 이야기해 주었습니다. 신이 가서 사신에게 절하니 사신이 신을 상석으로 안내하고 말하기를, “뜻하지 않게 오늘 이곳에서 만나게 되었소. 그대를 표류시키고 살리는 것은 실로 하늘의 힘인데, 중국의 땅에 닿았으니 이는 곧 살길을 얻은 것이오”라고 하였습니다. 이어서 신에게 지나온 산천의 지리와 사람과 산물의 번성을 묻기에, 신이 대략 진술하였습니다. 사신도 절강 이남의 강산과 지방을 마치 전에 지나가 본 것처럼 이야기하고는 신에게 말하기를, “우리나라 사람으로서 대강(大江) 이남을 직접 본 이가 근자에 없었는데, 그대만이 두루 관람했으니 어찌 행운이 아니겠소?" 라고 하였습니다. 신은 하직하고 물러 나왔습니다. 저녁에 사신이 또 사람을 시켜 묻기를, “그대는 표류되어 타국에 머무르고 있으니 물품과 식량 및 반찬이 반드시 모자랄 것이오. 모자란 것이 무엇인지 내가 그것을 보충해주겠소”라고 하였습니다. 신이 말하기를, “저는 황제의 두터운 은혜를 거듭 입어 살아서 이곳에 도착하였으니, 이곳을 지난 후에는 며칠 지나지 않아 본국에 이를 것입니다. 영공(令公)의 행차는 반드시 7월을 넘어야만 돌아오게 될 것이고, 객지에서 가진 물건 또한 한정이 있으므로 가벼이 남에게 주어서는 안 되는 것이니 감히 사양하겠습니다”라고 하였습니다. 사신은 신의 종자를 불러서 쌀 2되와 미역 2속(束)을 선사하면서 말하기를, “상중(喪中)에 손 노릇을 하는데 먹을 만한 것도 없을 것이기 때문에 보내는 것이오”라고 하였습니다. 달밤에 사신이 뜰 가운데 앉아 신을 불러 맞이해서 술자리를 베풀어 위로해 주었습니다.

16th Day. Arriving at Kuang-ning Station and Meeting an Envoy for the Imperial Birthday. This day was fair. We passed Ssu-t’a Stop, two other stops, and Chieh-kuan Pavilion, and came to the wall of Kuang-ning Garrison. We went in through Ying-en Gate, the west [gate] in the wall, passed Chin-shih-fang, and came to Kuang-ning Station. Soon afterwards, Board Vice-President Ch’ae Su, an Envoy for the Imperial Birthday,38 Kim Hak-ki, the Controller of Standards,39 Chòng 1-dúk, the First Secretary, Min Nim, Ch’ae Nyon, Pak Myöng-sön, Yu Sa-dal, O Kye-mun, Chang Nyang, Yi Uk, Yi Suk, Yi Hyong-nyang, Hong Hyo-sõng, Chong Un, Sin Kae-son, Haeng Cha-gang, Yun Chung-nyÖn, Kim Chong-son, and Kim Ch’un came into the station. The First Secretary and the Controller of Standards came first into the place where I had been lodged and told me in a general way about news from home. I went and bowed to the Envoy, who took me to an upper seat and said, “It never occurred to me that I should meet you here today. Indeed, it was Heaven that set you adrift and rescued you, and the coast of China on which you landed was the Earth that saved your life.” Then he asked me about strategic mountains and rivers and the densely populated [places) through which I had passed, and I described them roughly. The Envoy, for his part, talked about river and mountain regions from Chekiang south as one would talk about places through which one had already passed. He said to me, “No one from our country in recent times has personally even seen the Yangtze River and the places south of it; you alone have passed through them and seen them as you have. How fortunate you are!" I left. In the evening, the Envoy again sent a man to make an inquiry: “Since you drifted to a foreign country, your baggage and rations must want things. What do you need? I shall supply them.” I said, “I have repeatedly received the Emperor's generous graciousness and have reached here alive. After we pass here, it will not be many days before we reach our own country. His Excellency's party will take over seven months to return, and while abroad many things they have also will be limited. You should not give them away lightly." I ventured to refuse. The Envoy summoned my followers and gave them as presents two pecks of rice and two bunches of green beans. He said, “He is a guest in mourning, and there is nothing he may eat. That is why I am giving you this.” At night the Envoy sat in the central garden in the moonlight and invited me to come before him. He served me wine to console me.

5월 17일

十七日,在廣寧驛,是日晴,使臣與書狀、質正,俱到臣所寓,良久話別,夕,鎮守太監韋朗、都御史徐、都司大人胡忠、兵官綠謙、參將崔勝同議,以臣等漂死復生,情可憐,今曝官百戶柳源將全猪一頭、黃酒四盆、稻米一斗、粟米二來慰,臣分諸陪吏、軍人等,以飲食之,

광녕역에 머물렀습니다. 이 날은 맑았습니다. 사신이 서장관, 질정관과 함께 신의 처소에 와서 한참 동안 이야기하다가 헤어졌습니다. 저녁에 진수태감 위낭(韋朗), 도어사(都御史) 서관(徐韓), 도사대인(都司大人) 호충(胡忠), 총병관 구겸(淡), 참장(參將)196 최승(崔勝)이 함께 의논해서 신 등이 표류해서 거의 죽을 뻔하다가 다시 살아났으니 그 정상이 딱하다는 이유로 역관(官)인 백호(百戶) 유원(柳源)을 시켜서 통돼지 1마리, 황주(黃酒) 4동이, 쌀 1되, 좁쌀 2곡(斜)을 가져와 위로하였으므로, 배리와 군인들에게 나누어 먹게 하였습니다.

17th Day. At Kuang-ning Station. This day was fair. The Envoy came with the First Secretary and the Controller of Standards to the place where I was lodged, talked a good long time, and left. In the evening, Wei Lang, the Grand Defending Overseer, Hsü Kuan, a Censor-in-Chief,40 His Excellency Hu Chung, of the Regional Military Commission, Regional Commander Kou Ch’ien, and Local Commander [Ts’anchiang] Ts’ui Sheng, held a conference and, in view of the lamentable circumstances of our drifting toward death and regaining life, ordered Centurion Liu Yüan, the Station Master, to console us with a whole pig, four jugs of yellow wine, one peck of paddy, and twenty pecks of millet. I divided them among the secondary officials and soldiers to be eaten and drunk.

十八日,在廣寧驟,是日陰,張述祖告別向北京,謂臣曰:“隨路千有餘里,情志有甚戀慕,我年已耳順,脚力且衰,豈復與足下相再見乎? 第念足下若得志於本國,則他日必有進貢朝天之時,我家在順城門內石騎馬家前對門,其記今日之情,可賜一問否?”因解襯衣,贈吳山,盖述祖在途,嘗以吳山為手足故也,參將崔勝金玉邀臣等,玉,遼東人也,頗解我國語,臣令程保等從玉以往,勝大設酒釀,甚盛以饋,

광녕역에 머물렀습니다. 이 날은 흐렸습니다. 장술조가 북경으로 간다고 작별하면서 신에게 말하기를, “천여 리 길을 수행하노라니 정이 깊이 들었습니다. 내 나이 이미 60이요, 다리 힘도 쇠약하니, 어찌 다시 족하와 만날 수 있겠습니까? 다만 생각컨대, 족하께서 만약 본국에서 뜻을 이루신다면 후일에 반드시 공물을 바치고 천자를 알현할 때가 있을 것입니다. 제 집은 순성문(順城門) 안 석(石)부마(__馬)의 집 앞에 대문을 마주하고 있으니, 오늘의 정을 기억해 두셨다가 한 번 찾아주시지 않겠습니까?”라 하였습니다. 이어서 속옷을 벗어 오산에게 주었는데 대개 장술조가 길에서 오산을 수족(手足)으로 부렸기 때문이었습니다. 참장 최승은 김옥(金玉)으로 하여금 신 등을 맞이하게 했는데 김옥은 요동 사람으로서 우리말을 제법 할 줄 알았습니다. 신은 정보 등에게 김옥을 따라가게 했더니, 최승은 술상을 크게 차려 매우 융숭히 접대해 주었습니다.

18th Day. At Kuang-ning Station. This day was cloudy. Chang Shu-tsu announced his departure for Peking. He said to me, “I have accompanied you over one thousand li, and I feel great love for you. I am already sixty years old, and my legs are weak; how unlikely it is that I shall ever see you again! Yet it occurs to me that if you are a success in your own country, some day you will come with tribute. When you go to Court, my house is inside Shun-ch'eng Gate, opposite Master of Second Horses41 Shih's house. I hope you will remember the feelings of this day and pay me a call.” He took off his underclothing and gave it to O San, because on the way he had made O San his closest companion. Local Commander Ts’ui Sheng ordered Chin Yü to invite us [to be entertained]. Yü was a man of Liao-tung and understood our language rather well. I ordered Chong Po and the others to go with him, and they were entertained lavishly, with an overwhelming service of wine and food.

5월 19일

十九日,在廣寧驟,是日雨,太監、總兵官、都御史、都司、參將等,令柳源及驛寫字王禮等,載衣服、帽華等件來騷,分給臣及從者,臣所受,生福青圓領一件、白夏布擺295一件、白三棱布衫一件、大氈帽一項、小衣一件、白鹿皮鞋一雙、襪一雙,程保以下四十二人,每人白三棱布衫各一件、小衣各一件、氈帽各一項、華各一雙、糖各一雙,又以全猪一頭、酒二盆,源謂臣曰:“三堂老爹說你回國200,以今日所受之物,俱要啟于國王前”云云,夕,程保等四十餘人,羅跪臣前,日:“自古漂流,船雖或不敗,或渴水,或陷海,或病死,死者十居其半,令我等屢經患難,俱無死傷,此一幸也,漂到他國者,或致邊將所疑,或翻轉,或拘囚,或鞭(桂)「達」,隨之以問按驗之,今我等一無被拘困苦,到處皆敬待,飽以餐飯,此二幸也,前此难義人從李縣監而漂死者頗多,拘攣亦甚,到皇都,無賞賜, p.452 渴困苦,僅得生還,今我等到皇都,皇帝有賞賜,到廣寧,鎮守、三司賜衣裳帽華,軍人空手而來重負而還,此三幸也,凡此三幸,莫知其所由致也。”臣曰:“此皆由我聖上仁以撫眾,誠以大之德也。”

광녕역에 머물렀습니다. 이 날은 비가 내렸습니다. 태감, 총병관, 도어사, 도사, 참장 등이 유원과 역서기(驛書記) 왕례(王禮) 등을 시켜 의복, 모자, 가죽신 등을 신고 광녕역에 와서 신과 종자들에게 나누어주었습니다. 신이 받은 것은, 생복청원령(生福靑圓領)198 1건(件), 백하포파(白夏布擺)199 1건, 백삼사포삼(白三布 )200 1건, 대전모(大帽)201 1정(頂), 소의(小衣)202 1건, 백록피화(白鹿皮華)203 1쌍, 전말(模) 1쌍이고, 정보 이하 42인이 받은 것은 1인당 백삼사포삼 각 1건, 소의 각 1건, 전모(帽) 각 1정, 가죽신 각 1쌍, 전말 각 1쌍씩이었습니다. 그 외에 통돼지 1마리, 술 2동이를 주어 위로하였습니다. 유원이 신에게, “삼당(三堂)204 대감께서 당신이 본국에 돌아가면 오늘 받은 물건을 모두 국왕에게 아뢰어야 한다고 하셨습니다”라 운운하였습니다. 저녁에 정보 등 40여 인이 신의 앞에 죽 꿇어앉아서 말하기를, “예로부터 표류하면 배는 비록 파손되지 않더라도 마실 물이 떨어지기도 하고, 바다에 빠지기도 하고, 병들어 죽기도 해서 죽는 사람이 절반은 되었는데, 지금 우리들은 여러 번 환란을 겪었으나 죽은 자가 없었으니 이것이 첫 번째 행운입니다. 타국에 표류된 사람은 변장(邊將)에게 의심을 받아서 결박되기도 하고, 구금되기도 하고, 매 맞기도 하고, 또는 국문(問)하여 조사를 당하기도 했는데, 지금 우리들은 한 사람도 구금당해 고생한 적이 없고, 이르는 곳마다 모두 환대를 받아 밥을 배불리 먹게 되었으니 이것이 두 번째 행운입니다. 이전에 정의현(佐義縣) 사람들은 이(李) 현감(縣監)을 따라서 표류하다가 죽은 자가 자못 많고 속박도 심했을 뿐더러 황도(皇都)에 도착해서는 상도 없었고 기갈에 시달리다가 겨우 살아서 돌아왔는데, 지금 우리들은 황도에 도착하니 황제께서 상을 내리시고 광녕에 도착하니 진수(鎭守), 삼사(三司)가 의복, 모자, 가죽신을 주어 군인들이 맨손으로 왔다가 가득 짊어지고 돌아가니 이것이 세 번째 행운입니다. 이 세 가지 행운이 어디에서 온 것인지 모르겠습니다”라고 하였습니다. 신이 말하기를, “이것은 모두 우리 성상께서 인(仁)으로써 백성을 어루만지고 성심으로써 대국을 섬기신 덕택이다"라고 하였습니다.

19th Day. At Kuang-ning Station. This day it rained. The Overseer, Regional Commander, Censor-in-Chief, Regional Military Commissioner, and Local Commander ordered Liu Yüan and Station Scribe Wang Li to bring clothing, hats and boots to the station and issue them to me and my followers. I received one bright blue round-collar, one white Chinese linen wrap, one white three-shuttle cloth gown, one big felt hat, one small gown, one pair of white deer skin boots, and one pair of felt socks. Each of the forty-two men from Chòng Po down received one white three-shuttle cloth gown, one small gown, one felt hat, one pair of boots, and one pair of felt socks. They also feasted us with one whole pig and two jugs of wine. Yüan said to me, “The three chiefs42 say that when you return to your country you should report everything you have received today to your King.” In the evening Chong Po and the other forty-odd men knelt round me and said, “From olden days, even when boats that have gone adrift have not been wrecked, some of the people have been parched for water, some have fallen into the sea, and some have died of sickness. Half of every ten have died. We have had to endure hardships, but none of us has died or been hurt. That is one blessing. Of those who drift to foreign countries, some are suspected by coast guards, some are bound, some are imprisoned, and some are whipped and then examined and judged. We, now, have not suffered a single imprisonment. Everyone has treated us respectfully and given us plenty to eat. That is a second blessing. Before this, a great many of the men who went adrift with Junior Director Yi died. [The group] were also violently seized, and when they reached the capital, they were not awarded gifts. They suffered from hunger and thirst and were barely able to return alive. When we, now, reached the capital, the Emperor awarded us gifts; when we came to Kuang-ning, the Three Authorities presented to us clothing, hats, and boots. The soldiers came with empty hands and return heavily laden. That is a third blessing. “We do not know what has brought about these three blessings.” I said, “They have all been brought about by the virtue of our sage Highness in benevolently caring for the people and sincerely serving China.”

二十日,陰,大風,過察院、普慈寺,出城東門,即泰安門也,又過鍾秀橋、泉水、平面、潮溝等鋪,至盤山驛,有指揮楊俊來待饋以茶,瞬城北望有黑山、岐山、蛇山,山皆醫巫間之東支也。

흐리고 큰바람이 불었습니다. 찰원(察院)·보자사(普慈寺)를 지나 성의 동문으로 나오니 곧 태안문(泰安門)이었습니다. 또 종수교(鍾秀橋)·천수(泉水)·평전(平句)·조구(潮溝)등 포(鋪)를 지나서 반산역(盤山驛)에 이르니 지휘 양준(楊俊)이 와서 기다리고 있다가 차를 대접하였습니다. 역성(驛城) 북쪽에서 바라보니 흑산(黑山)·기산(岐山)·사산(蛇山)이 있었는데, 그 산들은 모두 의무려산의 동쪽지맥(支脈)이었습니다.
