해설문

4호 적석묘는 창원 진동리 유적의 북동쪽에 위치한다. 해발 7.2~7.5m 선상에 위치하고 있으며, 북쪽으로 1.5m 이격하여 3호 적석묘가 위치한다. 4호 적석묘의 평면 형태는 타원형에 가까우며 장축 방향은 북동-남서향이다. 적석의 규모는 길이 940㎝, 너비 720㎝, 잔존 두께는 28㎝이다. 유물은 적석에서 무문토기 저부편 3점이 확인되었다.

4-1호 매장주체부는 4호 적석묘의 남쪽에 위치한다. 묘광의 규모는 65㎝, 너비 50㎝, 깊이 22㎝이다. 매장주체부는 판석을 이용한 상형석관으로 규모 55㎝, 너비 34㎝, 깊이 40㎝이다.

4-2호 매장주체부는 4호 적석묘의 남동쪽에 위치한다. 묘광의 규모는 100㎝, 너비 92㎝, 깊이 30㎝이다. 매장주체부는 판석을 이용한 상형석관으로 규모 48㎝, 너비 21㎝, 깊이 54㎝이다.

Stone Mound Tomb No. 4

Stone Mound Tomb No. 4 is located in the northeastern part (7.2-7.5 m above sea level) of the Archaeological Site in Jindong-ri, Changwon. This tomb has an oval shape and is aligned lengthwise along a northeast-southwest axis. The remaining stone mound measures 940 cm in length, 720 cm in width, and 28 cm in thickness. Three pieces of earthenware without design were excavated from this tomb.

Through an excavation, two pits for burial goods were discovered in the south and southeastern part of the stone mound, and each pit contains a square case made of stone plates. The first pit measures 65 ㎝ in length, 50 ㎝ in width, and 22 ㎝ in depth, and its stone case measures 55 ㎝ in length, 34 ㎝ in width, and 40 ㎝ in depth. The second pit measures 100 ㎝ in length, 92 ㎝ in width, and 30 ㎝ in depth, and its stone case measures 48 ㎝ in length, 21 ㎝ in width, and 54 ㎝ in depth.

Stone Mound Tomb No. 3 is located 1.5 m apart to the north from this tomb.

영문 해설 내용

4호 적석묘는 창원 진동리 유적의 북동쪽 해발 7.2~7.5m 선상에 위치한다. 평면 형태는 타원형에 가까우며 장축 방향은 북동-남서향이다. 남아있는 적석의 규모는 길이 940㎝, 너비 720㎝, 두께는 28㎝이다. 유물은 무문토기 저부편 3점이 확인되었다.

발굴조사를 통해 부장품을 매장하기 위한 2개의 묘광이 적석묘의 남쪽과 남동쪽에서 발견되었으며, 각 묘광에는 판석으로 만든 상형석관이 들어있었다. 첫번째 묘광은 길이 65㎝, 너비 50㎝, 깊이 22㎝이고, 석관은 길이 55㎝, 너비 34㎝, 깊이 40㎝이다. 두번째 묘광은 길이 100㎝, 너비 92㎝, 깊이 30㎝이고, 석관은 길이 48㎝, 너비 21㎝, 깊이 54㎝이다.

북쪽으로 1.5m 이격하여 3호 적석묘가 위치한다.
