해설문

국문

이 건물은 회헌 류의손(檜軒 柳義孫, 1398~1450)과 기봉 류복기(岐峯 柳復起, 1555~1617)의 위패(位牌)를 봉안하고 제향(祭享)하는 곳이다.

기봉이 후손들의 수학(修學)과 휴식을 위해 광해군 7년(1615)에 지었으며 정조 4년(1780)에 별묘를 지어 봄가을로 향사를 지냈다고 한다. 처음에는 서당으로 세웠던 것을 나중에 후손들이 여기서 향사를 지냈다. 회헌은 조선 초기 세종 때 학자로 이조참판(吏曹參判), 예조참판(禮曹參判)을 지냈다. 기봉은 조선 중기 학자로 임진왜란 때 의병장으로 활약하였다.

사당인 추원사(追遠祠)는 정면 3칸, 측면 2칸의 맞배지붕이며, 강당인 역락당(亦樂堂)은 정면 5칸, 측면 2칸의 팔작지붕 건물이다. 임하댐 건설로 인하여 현재의 위치로 옮겼다.
