Narrative
In the Gwangsan-gu District of Gwangju, several roads are named after notable modern and contemporary figures. Poet Bak Yong-cheol (1904-1938) is remembered through Yonga-ro Road and his birthplace. Pansori master Im Bang-ul (1904-1961) is honored with Imbangul-daero Road and a dedicated exhibition hall that introduces his artistic legacy.
