(translation) 乾隆二十二年丁丑四月初四日幼學李乃內蕃前明文 Deed to Scholar Yi Naebeon on the 4th day of the 4th month of the 22nd year [1682] of Emperor Qianlong’s reign [1735-1796]
The document mentioned on the right is as follows:
Since I planned to move my ancestor’s tombs to another place, I had no choice but to sell fields set apart for sacrificial purposes, which consist of 58 fields, producing three loads and four handfuls of grains and are ten durakji of 71st paddy in Seon’gyo, and 115 fields, producing two loads and seven handfuls of grains and are five durakji of 198th paddy in Jeongdong village.
25 nyang of coin was the price, which was paid according to the amount. This year I sold out the property in perpetuity.
[However,] two places in this document are not allowed to sell because they are also another tenant’s property.
By any chance, should there be a dispute at a later date among my family, take this document and report to the authorities for justice to this matter.
