신주를 모시는 장으로 신장(神欌)이라고도 함.
신실 중앙 뒤쪽에 설치되어 있다. 전면에 드리운 주렴은 신주를 배알할 때에는 감아올려 갈고리에 걸고 평상시에는 내린다.
