유리등

Definition

궁중에서 문 위나 전각의 처마 밑에 달아 사용했던 등이다. 배나무로 육각기둥 모양의 테두리를 짜고 각 면에 유리를 끼운 형태인데, 각 유리판에는 유리의 투명과 반투명을 이용해 향로, 과반(果盤), 화분 등의 문양을 새겨넣었다.
