공정책(空頂幘)은 정수리[頂]가 비어 있는[空] 머리싸개[幘]라는 뜻으로 붙은 이름이다.[1] 조선시대 관례를 치르지 않은 왕세자나 왕세손이 평상시나, 의례를 행할 때 착용한다.[2]
