'''아이리시 커피(Irish Coffee)'''는 위스키를 베이스로 하고 커피와 생크림을 곁들여서 만드는 칵테일이다.

==유래==
아이리시라는 이름은 재료로 사용하는 아일랜드산 아이리시 위스키에서 왔다.

1942년 포이니스(Foynes)에 있는 여객선 터미널(지금은 샤론 국제 공항) 레스토랑에서 근무하던 셰리단(Joe Sheridan)이라는 바텐더가 추위와 피로에 지친 사람들을 달래주기 위해서 만든 것이 바로 아이리시 커피다. 당시 포이니스는 유럽과 미국을 연결하는 기점이었는데, 어느 날 승객 한 명이 셰리단에게 “이거 브라질 커피인가요?”라고 묻자 셰리단이 답하기를 “아뇨, 그건 아이리시 커피입니다.”라고 대답하여 탄생했다는 일화가 있다. 이때 처음 사용한 술이 파워(Powers)라는 위스키로, 가장 인기 있는 아이리시 위스키였다고 한다.<ref>염선영, 『
