 드디어 눈도 그치고 햇살도 좋은 밝은 날이다. 아침에 Olympia moving company 사람들이 츄럭 두 대를 가지고 와서 짐들을 모두 싣고 뉴톤에 왔는데 눈을 치워가며 집안에 짐들을 운반했다.

 자식 손주들도 내가 건강하고 여유있어야 대접빋는다. 손주들이 가깝게 있어도 점점 커가면서 언어소통도 어려워지고 먹는 음식도 다르고 몸이 불편하니 같이 놀아줄 수도 없고 그저 바라볼 뿐이다.
 병 수발중 제일 어려운 것이 식사준비. 2 년 동안 전업주부 노릇하면서 제법 배우고 익히기는 했지만 아침마다 하루 세끼 뭘 해야 할지 고민이다.
 일 주일에 두 번 물리치료사가 와서 도아주는데 혼자서 희망을 가지고 노력해야 하는데 별로 움직이려고 하지 않는다. 옆에서 지켜봐야 하니까 나도 어지럽고 힘들지만 나라도 건강해야 손주들 학교에 데려다 주고 내 생활도 유지할 수 있어 틈나는대로 스포츠클럽에 다니고 열심히 연습한다.
 새해에는 더 악화되지 않고 희망을 가질 수 있기를 바라며 격동하는 세상에 평화를 기원한다.

 Dear friends,
 Christmas Day in Newton, so quiet and no spirits for holidays. We are all alone since grandkids went to Charlston, SC to visit Thao's family.
 Looking back, year of 2015 was quite stressful with moving near to Young-Ho's house, just finished renovating kitchen last month.
 Susan is about the same condition, weak and low level of energy, however, no need PT for a while, and eating and sleeping well.
 My virtigo seems getting worse, easily get dizzy and freaky but have managed well to attend the rehearsals of Newton Senior Center Ensemble and Wellesley Symphony Orchestra which I just joined this fall. I enjoy and learn a lot from every rehearsal. The conductors are wonderful and encouraging me to be strong musically and physically as well.
 Still teaching Korean language and culture at Boston College and I had a large class of 24 students last semester, which is definitely a source of my energy and self satisfaction to live.
