Definition
‘길위(吉爲)’란 ‘선한 행동을 하다’ 또는 ‘복된 행동을 하다’는 뜻이다. ‘길(吉)’은 ‘선(善)’, 또는 ‘복(福)’의 뜻으로 쓰인다.
‘吉(길)’ 자의 윗부분이 표준 서체는 ‘士(사)’이지만 여기서는 ‘土(토)’의 형태를 취했는데, 서법에서 흔히 나타나는 속체이다.
