Definition
무안군청(務安郡廳,~) 1910년 8월 일본이 한국을 병탄하고 10월 1일 지방관제 개편에 따라 무안부를 목포부로 개칭하고 종래 무안부의 19면을 관할하였다. 1914년 부,군 폐합과 부제시행으로 목포부 일부 시가지만을 관할하게되고 나머지는 무안군으로 행정개편이 이루어지며 무안감리서 자리에 무안군청이 들어섰다. 이후 무안군에서 신안군이 1969년 분리되면서, 2011년 3월까지 신안군청으로 사용되었다. 무안군청 청사는 조성당시 목조건물이었던 것으로 보이나, 현존하지 않는다. 다만 무안군청 시절 부속건물로 조성된 석조건물이 남아있다.
