Definition

현준호(玄俊鎬, 1889~1950)는 사업가이다. 조선총독부 중추원 참의를 지내는 등 일제에 협력한 지역 유지로, 그의 집안은 호남지방에서 유명한 거부 가문이었다. 1919년 호남은행 발기인으로 창립에 힘썼다. 광주, 목포, 영암 등지에서 금융인, 기업가로 활동하였으며, 친일행위도 하였다. 6.25 전쟁중 광주에서 인민군에게 희생당하였다. ref> 목포시, 『목포시사』,4권 제 6편 목포의 주요 인물, 2017, 610 쪽.</ref>
