==Definition==

[[조면검사소|조면검사소 (繰綿檢査所,1927~)]]은 1927년 11월 창립된 조면검사소는 목포부 내의 대화정(현재 대의정)에 있는 곡물검사소 건물을 공동으로 사용하였다. 일제의 면작장려 개시 이후 조면공장이 증설되며 조면업자가 무분별하게 증가하고 조면의 이출, 반출 등에 조면 검사를 위한 기관이 필요해져 설립하게 되었다.
