[[목포좌|목포좌(木浦座, 1904~1908)]]는 목포 최초 연극공연장으로서, 1904년 당시 복산정(복만동, 현 영해동)에 가설극장으로 열었다. 당시 국내와 목포에 일본인들이 많이 이주하여 살았으며, 이들을 위한 일본 가부키 공연을 하기 위한 극장이었다. 경영난을 겪다 1908년 문을 닫았다. <ref> 목포시, 『목포시사』, 2권 제 1편 목포의 문화예술, 2017, 203-218 쪽. </ref>
