This is a kiln site where buncheong porcelain ware was produced during the early 15th century (1420~1440). Buncheong is a type of traditional Korean ceramic made by coating the celadon surface decoration with white slip.

해설문

국문

조선 전기에 분청사기를 굽던 가마 터[요지]다. 1420~1440년대에 운영되었던 것으로 추정되며, 발굴조사 결과 반지하식과 오름식 가마* 터 4곳이 확인되었다.

출토 자기는 대부분 분청사기와 문양이 없는 회청사기이며, 백자가 소량 출토되었다. 사발과 접시가 가장 많고 종지, 잔, 병 등이 섞여 있었다. 이곳에서 발견된 자기의 양식과 특징은 경기도 광주 도수리 6호와 변천리 17호 가마터 자기와 유사한 점을 보인다.
