해설문
국문
교동 II지구 67호분은 교동 II지구 서쪽 무덤들 중에서 가장 남쪽에 있는 무덤이다. 그동안 봉분이 없어 무덤의 실체를 모르고 있다가 2009년 주변을 정비하는 발굴 조사 과정에서 실체가 드러났다.
5세기 후반에 만들어진 앞트기식돌방무덤(橫口式石室墓)*이며, 돌방은 벽의 일부가 주택에 의해 훼손되었지만 거의 도굴되지 않아 만들어진 당시의 모습을 그대로 유지한 상태였다. 돌방은 길이 6.5m, 너비 1.4m, 높이 1.7m이며 뚜껑돌은 9매가 사용된 것으로 보인다.
돌방은 5개의 공간으로 나누어져 있는데 주검과 유물, 순장자**를 안치하였으며 순장자는 주검의 발치 쪽에서 확인되었다. 은제허리띠(銀製銙帶), 장식말갖춤(裝飾馬具) 등의 장신구와 토기류, 무기류 등 다양한 유물이 출토되었으며, 유물의 종류와 성격에 따라 출토 위치가 달라 비화가야 장례문화 연구에 귀중한 자료가 되고 있다.
