해설문
국문
이 집은 청풍면 후산리에 있던 옛집으로 지금은 ㄱ자 모양의 안채만 남아있다. 안방 뒤에 수납 공간인 윗방을 둔 점과 마루 한 구석에 조상의 위패를 모시고 제사를 지낸 제사방을 둔 점이 특징이다. 기둥 위를 잇는 큰 나무와 지붕이 만나는 꼭대기 사이를 받친 나무가 이 집의 독특한 부분이다. 후산리 고가는 평면과 가구 형식 등에서 조선 시대 제천의 부유한 농민 집의 건축 형태를 잘 간직하고 있다. 충주댐을 만들면서 현재의 위치로 옮겼다.

영문 해설 내용
이 집은 조선 후기에 지어진 부농의 주택이다. 청풍면 후산리에 있던 집인데, 1985년 충주댐을 만들면서 현재의 위치로 옮겼다.
지금은 안채만 남아있다. 대청마루를 중심으로 왼쪽에는 부엌과 안방을, 오른쪽으로 건넌방을 두었다. 건넌방의 앞과 옆에 툇마루를 둘렀고, 앞쪽 툇마루 위에는 차양지붕을 붙였다. 마루 한 쪽에 조상의 위패를 모시는 감실을 두었다.
