해설문
국문
정자각은 제향을 지내는 건물로 지붕 위에서 보면 정(丁)자 모양이어서 정자각이라고 한다. 제사 음식을 올리고 제사를 지내는 정청(正廳)과 정청 앞 월대 부분인 배위청(拜位廳)으로 이루어지며, 숙종 25년(1699)에 지었다.

영문 해설 내용
정자각은 왕릉에서 제사를 지낼 때 사용하는 건물로, 지붕 위에서 보면 T자 모양인 데에서 이름이 붙여졌다. 정청에는 제사 음식을 올리고, 정청 앞 월대에서 제례를 올린다. 장릉 정자각은 1699년에 지었다.
