해설문
국문
의령 율리재는 조선시대 숭정처사* 일와 안택을 기리기 위해 지은 재실이다. 안택은 병자호란 때 조선이 남한산성에서 청나라에 굴욕적인 패배를 당한 후 청나라와 강화를 하자 관직을 버리고 의령 율리로 내려와 관직에 나아가지 않고 평생 학문에만 힘쓴 인물이다.
율리재는 가운데 방을 두고 양옆에 마루를 두었는데 일반적인 재실의 공간 구성과는 정반대의 모습을 보이고 있다. 이 건물은 우리나라 근대 한옥의 변화와 특징을 잘 보여주며, 건물에 사용된 나무의 상태가 좋고 여러 재료들이 단단하게 잘 연결되어 있어, 건축학적으로 가치가 있는 자료로 평가 받고 있다.

After the Manchu invasions (1636-1637) and after Joseon humiliatingly surrendered to Qing Dynasty of China in 1637, An Taek stopped serving in public office and lived in retirement in Yulli Village, Uiryeong, where he devoted his life to study.

영문 해설 내용
조선시대의 선비인 안택을 기리는 제사를 지내기 위해 지은 재실이다.
안택은 1637년 병자호란 때 조선이 청나라에 굴욕적으로 항복하자, 관직을 버리고 의령의 율리마을에 은거하며 평생 학문에만 힘썼다.
일반적인 재실 건물은 대청을 중심으로 양옆에 온돌방을 두는데, 율리재는 가운데에 온돌방을 두고 양옆에 대청을 두었다. 건물에 사용된 나무의 상태가 좋고 여러 재료들이 단단하게 잘 연결되어 있어, 건축학적으로 가치가 있는 자료로 평가 받고 있다.
