해설문
국문
조선전기 포천 출신의 효자 유인선(柳仁善, 1492~?)을 기리는 정려비이다. 효우 정려비란 부모에 대한 효와 형제들에 대한 우애를 기리기 위하여 세운 비를 말한다.
유인선은 어버이에게 효도하고 4명의 아우들과 우애 있게 지내면서 잠시도 떨어지지 않았다고 한다. 이러한 효우를 높이 인정하여 중종 30년(1535) 경기도 관찰사가 효자로 천거하였고, 명종 4년(1549)에 정표를 내렸다. 영조 11년(1735)에 6세손인 유세주(柳世冑)가 이러한 사실을 알고 이의현(李宜顯, 1669~1745)에게 비문을 받아 돌에 새겨서 세웠다. 글씨는 김상옥(金相玉, 1683~1739), 전액(篆額)은 민진원(閔鎭遠, 1664~1736)이 썼다. 뒷면에는 포천 출신의 유명한 서예가 양사언(楊士彦, 1517~1584)이 쓴 「효우문전(孝友門傳)」을 초서체로 새겨놓았다.
