해설문
국문
장릉 서쪽에 있는 이 우물은 정조 15년(1791)에 왕명으로 영월 부사 박기정이 지어서 한식 때 제정*으로 사용하였다. 우물의 깊이는 1.5m 정도이며 아래쪽은 화강석 담으로 둥글게 쌓여 있고 위쪽은 정사각형이다.

Yeongcheon Well
This well was built upon royal order in 1791 by the local magistrate Bak Gi-jeong (1748-?). The well’s water was used during the veneration ritual held at the tomb each year in the fourth lunar month. The well measures 1.5 m in depth, with a square top and a round interior made of granite stones.
