There is a room with underfloor heating (ondol) on its left side and an elevated wooden-floored porch with a balustrade on its right side. On this wide porch, Kim Yu and others of Joseon's well-known Confucian scholars shared food and alcoholic drinks, enjoyed the scenery and exchanged poetry. The wooden plaque hung on the porch has the name of the pavilion calligraphed on it and the calligraphy is presumed to have been written by Han Ho (1543-1605), a master calligrapher of the Joseon period.
