The fortress measures about 470 m in perimeter. A foundation made only of soil was discovered under the collapsed east and south stone walls, so it is presumed that the fortress was first made as an earthen fortification and later changed to a stone fortification. There are gate sites in the south and east side, and the eastern gate is presumed to have been repaired during the Joseon period (1392-1910). A well site and shards of pottery presumed to date to the Baekje period were discovered within the fortress walls.
