해설문

국문

이 고택은 동춘당 송준길(同春堂 宋浚吉)의 둘째 손자인 수오재 송병하(守迕齋 宋炳夏)가 1674년에 분가하여 건립한 것을 그의 아들인 소대헌 송요화가 1714년에 현 위치로 옮겨 지은 것이다. 송요화의 부인 호연재 김씨는 17-18세기의 여류문학을 대표하는 시인으로 한시 130여 수를 남겼다.

기호 지역에서는 보기 드물게 대문을 들어서면 왼쪽에 큰 사랑채(소대헌)와 오른쪽에 작은 사랑채(오숙재)를 별채로 지었다. 작은 사랑채에서 안채로 들어가는 중문 옆에는 양반가에서도 보기 드문 서고(書庫)가 있다. 기호 지역 양반가의 특징이 잘 보이는 건물이다.

영문 해설 내용

이 고택은 송준길(1606-1672)의 손자인 송병하(1646-1697)가 1647년에 분가하면서 건립한 건물이다. 1714년 그의 아들 송요화(1682-1764, 호: 소대헌)가 지금의 위치로 옮겨 지었다.

송요화는 조선시대의 문신으로 1730년 음사로 출사하여 여러 관직을 지냈다. 그의 부인 호연재 김씨(1681-1722)는 17-18세기의 여류문학을 대표하는 시인이다.

이 고택은 안채, 가묘, 2채의 사랑채로 구성되어 있다. 대문을 들어섰을 때 왼편에 있는 큰사랑채는 송요화가 사용하던 것이고, 오른쪽의 작은사랑채는 아들인 송익흠(1708-1757)이 사용하던 것이다.
