담락당 하립, 삼의당 김씨 부부와 관련된 유적은 남부 마이산에 부부시비, 방화마을에 옛집터, 백운면 덕현리에 묘소 등이 있다.

부부시비(夫婦詩碑)는 마령면 방화리에 살았던 부부 시인 담락당 하립과 삼의당 김씨를 기념하기 위해 1983년 ‘담락당·삼의당 기념 사업회’에서 남부 마이산 탑영제 근처에 세운 것이다. 시비에는 담락당의 시 ｢初夜唱和(초야창화)」와 삼의당의 시 「화답의 노래」가 나란히 새겨져 있다.

부부시비 오른편에는 부부 재각인 명려각(明麗閣)이 있다. 부부가 살았던 집은 현재 남아 있지 않으며, 옛집터에 축대 흔적만 남아 있다. 부부의 묘소는 덕현리 원덕마을회관에서 남쪽으로 200m가량 떨어진 산 중턱에 위치하며, 2기의 봉분이 나란히 놓인 형태이다.

Historic Sites Related to Ha Rip and His Wife Lady Kim

Ha Rip (1769-1830) and his wife Lady Kim were poets during the late Joseon period (1392-1910). They were born on the same day in a village in today’s Namwon area. They got married in 1786, and the couple stayed in Hanyang, the capital area, to study for several years. They moved to Banghwa-ri in Jinan in 1801 and lived in this village for the rest of their lives, composing numerous poems.

The stele honoring the couple was erected in 1983. The lower part of the steles are carved with the couple’s poems composed on their wedding night. To the right of the stele is a ritual house for the preparation of memorial rituals for the couple.

The couple’s tombs and the site of their house are in Deokhyeon-ri and Gyeseo-ri of Jinan, respectively.

영문 해설 내용

하립과 부인 김씨는 조선 후기의 시인이다. 두 사람은 같은 날 남원의 한 마을에서 태어났다. 1786년에 혼인한 후, 한양에 머물며 몇 년간 공부하였다. 1801년 진안 방화리로 이주한 후 평생을 이곳에 살며 많은 시 작품을 남겼다.

부부를 기념하는 시비는 1983년에 세워졌다. 시비의 아래쪽에는 결혼 첫날밤에 지은 부부의 시가 새겨져 있다. 시비 오른쪽에는 부부의 재각이 있다.

부부의 묘소와 옛 집터는 각각 진안 덕현리와 계서리에 있다.
