해설문
국문
봉래(蓬萊) 양사언(楊士彦, 1517~1584) 선생의 위패와 영정을 봉안한 사당이다. 선생은 포천 출신 대학자이자 조선의 3대 명필이며 대문장가이다. 선생은 금수정 주변 영평천변 경도(瓊島)를 비롯해 많은 암각문을 남겼으며 단사부(丹沙賦)와 열운정기(閱雲亭記)를 비롯하여 많은 명작을 남기셨다.
금강산 만폭동의 바위에 새긴 봉래풍악원화동천(蓬萊楓嶽元化洞天)이란 글씨는 현재까지도 칭송이 자자하며, ‘태산이 높다하되 하늘 아래 뫼이로다’라는 시조는 만인의 사랑을 받으며 선생의 시는 꾸밈이 없어 천의무봉(天衣無縫)하다는 호평을 받고 있다.
1546년(명종 1) 문과에 급제한 후 안변대도호부사를 역임하기까지 여덞 고을의 수령을 역임하였으며 효제와 교화로 선정을 베풀어 곳곳마다 거사비(去思碑)가 세웠졌다. 청주 양씨 문중과 유림의 성금과 도시, 시비 보조로 건립하여 1991년 6월에 준공하였다.
매년 음력 3월 3일에 유림행사로 제향을 받들고 있다.

Gilmyeongsa Shrine
Gilmyeongsa is a shrine dedicated to Yang Sa-eon (1517~1584), one of the four great calligraphers of the early Joseon dynasty (1392-1910).
