광주치서 광수산 이씨 세장기비

이 비는 조선 숙종 때인 1695년에 광평대군 10대손인 이유 녹천상공(李濡 鹿川相公)께서 평안도 관찰사로 재임할 때 세웠다.

광평대군의 묘를 이곳 광수산으로 옮긴 것은 1495년이며, 이후 200년간 약 10대에 걸쳐 자손들의 묘소가 그 주변에 자리 잡게 되었다. 세월이 흘러 자취가 없어질 것을 우려하여, 186기에 달하는 묘소의 방향과 거리를 기슭에 따라 구별하고 기록하여 대군의 묘 아래에 비를 세운 것이다.

이 비를 세운 목적은 후손들에게 묘소의 위치를 알려 조상을 기리는 마음을 깊게 다지며 집안의 묘를 대대로 한 곳에 조성하여 높이 기리게 하는 ‘세장’의 정신으로 종친 간의 화목을 돈독히 하려는 것이다.
