The building's foundation was built to account for the steep slope on which the building stands. On the Buddhist altar inside, a wooden triad (Chungcheongnam-do Tangible Cultural Heritage No. 185) is enshrined, consisting of Sakyamuni in the center flanked by Bhaisajyaguru (the Medicine Buddha) and Amitabha (the Buddha of the Western Paradise).

Inside the building, there are four pillars made of bush clover. If they had circled around the pillars many times, they would go to the Western Paradise, but if they had not circled at all, they would go to hell. According to a different legend, if a person struggling to have a son spins around one of the pillars while hugging it, they will be able to concieve a son.
