국문
강화 하점면 부근리 마을에 위치한 이 고택은 ㄱ자형 안채와 ㄴ자형 바깥채가 마당을 사이에 두고 있어서 전체적으로 ㅁ자형으로 배치되어 있다. 바깥채 상량문은 1881년에, 안방 상량문은 1901년에 각각 중수*된 것으로 기록되어 있어 그 이전에 건축된 주택을 당시에 중수한 것으로 추정된다.
강화 하점면 사직골 고택은 목재의 치목수법(목재를 다듬는 방법)과 가구법, 창호 등 세부적인 모습에서 상당 부분 원형을 유지하고 있으며 조선 시대 주거 문화를 잘 보여주고 있어 건축사적 가치가 높다.

This historic house underwent renovation in the late 19th – early 20th century. It is one of the few traditional houses on Ganghwado Island with well-preserved architectural features of the Joseon period (1392-1910). The house consists of a women’s quarters and an outer quarters. Both buildings have L-shaped layouts which together form a square with a courtyard in the middle. They were renovated in 1901 and 1881, respectively.
Many elements of the house such as timber finish technique, structure of the roof frame, and windows are preserved in their original form. The house has great value as an example of the Joseon-period residential architecture.
영문 해설 내용
이 고택은 19세기 말-20세기 초에 중수된 것으로 강화도에 남아 있는 전통 가옥 중 드물게 조선시대 건축물의 특징을 잘 보여준다. ㄱ자형 안채와 ㄴ자형 바깥채가 마당을 사이에 두고 전체적으로 ㅁ자형으로 배치되어 있다. 바깥채는 1881년에, 안채는 1901년에 각각 중수되었다.
목재를 다듬은 수법과 가구법, 창호 등 세부적인 모습에서 상당 부분 원형을 유지하고 있으며 조선 시대 주거 문화를 잘 보여주고 있어 건축사적 가치가 높다.
