국문

조선시대 중기의 대학자이며 서원의 창시자인 주세붕(周世鵬, 1495~1554)의 시문집인 『무릉잡고』, 그의 아들 주박(周博, 1524~?)의 문집인 『귀봉집』, 손자 주맹헌(周孟獻)의 시문집인 『수구집』을 간행하기 위해 새긴 책판이다. 책판은 모두 1908년에 새긴 것이다.

『무릉잡고』에서 ‘무릉(武陵)’은 칠원의 옛 이름이다. 이 문집에서 주목을 끄는 것은 한글가사인데, 「도동곡(道東曲)」·「육현가(六賢歌)」·「엄연곡(儼然曲)」·「태평곡(太平曲)」 등이 모두 경기체가 형식으로 쓰여져 있어, 당시의 가곡을 연구하는 데 좋은 자료이다.
