해설문

재실은 능에 제사를 지내기 위하여 지은 부속 건물로, 제수 장만, 제기 보관, 제관의 휴식 등에 사용한다. 평상시에는 능을 지키는 참봉 1인과 수호군 9인이 기거하며 능역 전체를 관리했다. 이 재실은 숙종 25년(1699)에 세웠고, 1932년에 고쳐 지었다.

매년 단종제향을 지낼 때 이곳에서 제물을 준비하고 제기를 비롯한 각종 사용 기구를 보관한다.

Ritual House (Jangneung Royal Tomb, Yeongwol)

Ritual House served as the place for the preparation of ritual offerings of food and drink, storing ritual vessels, and accommodation for the ritual officiants. A civil official and nine guards who oversaw the maintenance of the tomb also resided in this ritual house.

The ritual house of Jangneung Royal Tomb was established in 1699 and repaired/rebuilt in 1932. It is where the offerings are prepared and ritual vessels are stored for the veneration ceremony to King Danjong (1441-1457, r. 1452-1455) and his loyalists which takes place annually in the fourth lunar month/April.

재실은 제사에 쓰이는 음식을 장만하고 제기를 보관하며 제관들이 휴식을 취하는 데 사용하는 건물이다. 평상시에는 능을 지키는 참봉 1인과 수호군 9인이 재실에 기거하며 능역 전체를 관리했다.

장릉의 재실은 1699년에 세웠고 1932년에 고쳐 지었다. 매년 4월 단종과 충신들의 넋을 기리는 제향을 지내는데, 이곳에서 제물을 준비하고 제기 등의 각종 기구를 보관한다.
