해설문

국문

익산댁은 정면 4칸, 측면 2칸 규모의 ‘一’ 자형 안채와 부속채로 구성된 가옥이다. 안채는 1칸 대청을 중심으로 안방과 건넌방이 있으며 안방의 서쪽에 부엌이 있는 건물이다. 부엌을 제외한 3칸의 공간 앞에는 툇마루를 두었다. 앞쪽에 새시 문을 설치하는 등 생활의 편의를 위하여 일부를 개조하고 수리하였으나 비교적 가옥의 원형이 잘 남아 있다.

Iksandaek House (Maewon Village), Chilgok

This house is presumed to have been built in the early 20th century and it consists of a women's quarters and an auxiliary quarters. The women's quarters consists of a wooden-floored hall in the center with an underfloor-heated room on each side with a kitchen on the far left and narrow wooden verandas in front of the wooden-floored hall and the underfloor-heated rooms. It was repaired in the 1980s and it was partially repurposed to make life more convenient such as having chassis(?) doors installed, but the house has relatively maintained its original structure.

영문 해설 내용

이 집은 20세기 초에 지은 것으로 추정되며, 안채와 부속채로 이루어져 있다. 안채는 대청을 중심으로 양옆에 온돌방을 두었고, 맨 왼쪽에는 부엌이 있으며, 대청과 온돌방 앞에는 툇마루를 두었다. 1980년대에 수리하면서 섀시 문을 설치하는 등 생활의 편의를 위하여 일부 개조하였으나 비교적 가옥의 원형이 잘 남아 있다.
