국문
『현수제승법수(賢首諸乘法數)』는 불교의 법수(法數)*를 차례대로 배열하여 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있게 만든 불교 사전이다. 1500년(연산군 6)에 경상도 합천 가야산 봉서사(鳳栖寺)에서 처음 판각되었다.
묘련사『현수제승법수』는 1500년에 경상도 합천 가야산(伽倻山) 봉서사(鳳栖寺)에서 개판(開板)**했다는 간기와 해인사 승려 등곡(燈谷)의 발문(跋文)***이 있어 간행 시기와 장소를 분명히 알 수 있다. 시주자들의 인명이 수록되어 있으며 인쇄와 보존상태가 양호하여 불교사와 서지학 연구 자료로서 가치가 있다.

Hyeonsu jeseung beopsu (Comprehensive Glossary of Numerical Terminology by Monk Fazang*) of Myoryeonsa Temple, Gimhae
Comprehensive Glossary of Numerical Terminology by Monk Fazang lists the terms from various Buddhist scriptures which contain numerals in their names. It was compiled by the Chinese monk Fazang (643–712)**, who is one of the five patriarchs of the Huayan school of Mahayana Buddhism. In Korea, the first edition of this book was published in 1500 at Bongseosa Temple on Gayasan Mountain in Hapcheon, Gyeongsang-do.
The copy kept at Myoryeonsa Temple was printed with woodblocks in 1500 at Bongseosa Temple and contains*** a record about its publication written by Monk Donggok from Haeinsa Temple. This copy is an important resource in the field of the history of Buddhism and bibliography due to its known year and location of printing, names of the people who provided donations for its publication, as well as its good condition and legibility of the text.
