해설문
국문
도산서원에서 만든 책의 목판을 보관하던 곳이다. 선조(1567~1608 재위)가 쓴 글씨와 퇴계선생의 문집, 언행록, 글씨 등을 새긴 목판을 보관하였다. 목판의 보존과 연구를 위해 2003년 목판 전량을 한국국학진흥원으로 옮겼다.
영문
Jangpangak
Jangpangak was a storage building where printing woodblocks and books produced in the Dosanseowon Confucian Academy were kept. The building is also thought to have housed calligraphy written by King Seonjo (r. 1567-1608) and the collected works, calligraphy and records of words and behavior of Yi Hwang that could be used as a model for others. In 2003 all the woodblocks and books were moved to The Advanced Center for Korean Studies in Andong for research and preservation.
